REVIEW AND SWATCH: THE SUNNIES FACE GLOWBOSS

This just in: the Sunnies Face launched another product called the Glowboss and I’m guessing everybody’s nosy about it. Well, Glowboss is the second beauty product released by Sunnies Face, it is a multipurpose shimmer or highlighter stick which has a cream to powder finish and claims that it is perfect in any skintone and in any climate. It is paraben free and cruelty free and goes at 445php each. The Sunnies Face Glowboss comes in three shades: HEY GIRL (pearly champagne), FEMME (peachy coral), and MAMACITA (golden bronze).

I’ve been in love with this brand since the release of their Fluffmattes, and I’ve been looking forward on new products that they’ll have in store, so when I heard that they’ll be releasing Glowboss I totally freaked and decided to get myself one immediately. I guess all fans of Sunnies Face have been thinking the same thing cause it sold out the moment I checked online. Anyway, desparate times call for desparate measures, I got mine from a friend (Thanks a lot Ruka!) who bought an extra Glowboss in the shade Hey Girl.

So excited to share with you my thoughts and opinions about this product, but before I start, just want to share that I didn’t use any foundation or powder on while trying this product cause I prefer using it with a bare face. Anyway, without further ado…

Packaging

The Sunnies Face Glowboss is in a retractable tube stick that comes with a cute box which colors vary depending on the shade. It is perfect for on-the-go ladies cause the tube is light and small which is easy to bring with and for me it is also easy to apply cause you can just swipe the stick anywhere you want and blend it your fingers and you’re good to go. Plus, Glowboss has this clean, minimalist-chic vibe similar to the Fluffmattes packaging which I super-duper dig.

Formula

The Glowboss has this creamy powdery feel that is multipurpose so you can put it anywhere you like, be it on the temple of your cheeks, brow bone, nose, Cupid’s bow, and even on the lips.

I used the Glowboss with a bare face and personally liked it. For me, it made my skin look dewy and fresh. It didn’t give off that blinding effect that most highlighters do though but it gave my face a natural fresh healthy glow.

I got the shade Hey Girl which is a pearly champagne shade.

Final thoughts

I’m giving the Sunnies Face Glowboss a 4/5 stars. The product is a bit pricey but I personally think the Sunnies Face Glowboss is good cause I’m the type whose into easy to use and natural looking makeups. What I liked about the Glowboss is its simplicity. Simplicity in application and in outcome. It does not give off that “Papsansin” blinding shine but it gives off that dewy healthy glow that I love to have in a product.

So, if you’re into MBB makeups (myself but better…is there such a word? 🤣) then Sunnies Face Glowboss is worth adding to your top shelf ✨
